JoinLinks Child Safety Standards

JoinLinks, Inc. operates the JoinLinks mobile apps, website, and APIs. These Child Safety Standards apply to all JoinLinks services and explain the standards we enforce against child sexual abuse and exploitation.

JoinLinks is intended for users who are at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction. JoinLinks is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children under that age to create accounts or use the Services.

During optional profile setup we may invite users to share a date of birth. Providing it is optional and is never required to create an account or finish onboarding. We use date of birth to help understand the age makeup of our community and to support age-appropriate safety work; we do not currently use it to gate access to features, and any future age-based controls will be introduced only with appropriate enforcement safeguards. If we learn that a child under the minimum age has created an account, we take steps to remove it.

JoinLinks explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to use JoinLinks to exploit, endanger, or sexualize a child.

Users may not upload, share, request, link to, promote, normalize, or coordinate access to CSAE or CSAM. This prohibition applies to profile content, posts, comments, chats, events, communities, media, links, usernames, and any other user-generated content or activity on JoinLinks.

JoinLinks provides in-app reporting and blocking tools for user profiles, posts, comments, chats, communities, and other user interactions. Users can use those controls to report child safety concerns, abusive behavior, or illegal content.

We review reports and other safety signals to identify potential CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or child endangerment. When we find violations, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant evidence as required by law, and prevent the user from returning to JoinLinks.

When we identify apparent CSAM or other child exploitation activity, we report to appropriate regional or national authorities where required, and we cooperate with lawful investigations.

JoinLinks complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. We update these standards and our moderation practices as our services, legal obligations, and platform safety requirements evolve.
